Mom stuff

Listening to one of my pregtastic podcasts this morning I learned about some cool resources that I wish I would have known about before.

1: Cool Mom Picks---what a GREAT idea for a website. They have some GREAT ideas, not just for moms-to-be either! Bonus, you can sign up for free giveaways of some of the product samples that they get!

2: Eco Child's Play---absolutely essential for the green parent! They have all kinds of info about safe products for your kids, including toys, bottles, teething rings, etc. The blog is an outstanding resource for parents & they have some great links too!

3: Felicite! What a great find! You find all the stuff you want to register for on the web, & they compile it & link to it! I wish I would have known about this before I registered. Would have saved me the headache of going to the store w/ the registry gun & having to tote Andy with me.

Just a few new places on the web to check out. :-)

FYI: Pregnancy is going fine right now. My latest frustration has been that my shoes don't really fit quite right because my feet are a bit swollen. I'm gonna try to get some more exercise & drink some more water this week to see if it helps at all. The baby is getting REALLY active now, & a my undulating belly is a continued source of entertainment for us. Hard to pay attention in class when you're being kicked from the inside BTW!
I can't believe I'm actually going into my last trimester! Home stretch & soo much to do before the little one arrives. We're looking at birthing classes right now & hopefully will get to meet with our prospective Doula soon too. Exciting stuff, I know. Who has time to write pilot study proposals? Me!
